LeBron James really is a superhero. Wednesday night, he had 35 points, 17 assists and seven rebounds in a victory against the first-place Raptors. Thursday morning, he went right back to work. But this time, he was taking on the role of supporting cast member in the upcoming film “Smallfoot.”
LeBron posted a video on Instagram of him really getting into character.

The movie is about a creature discovering that humans really exist. The three-time NBA champion is the voice of a giant purple character named Gwangi. LeBron’s co-stars include Channing Tatum, Zendaya and Common.
This won’t be LeBron’s first acting gig. He played a hilarious friend in the 2015 romantic comedy “Trainwreck.” The Akron native also made a guest appearance on the cable television show “Survivor’s Remorse.”
“Smallfoot” is scheduled to hit theatres in September of this year.
